Since the smoking ban came into play gone are the days where you could go to a Bingo Hall and enjoy a game of bingo whilst having a cigarette. So has this decision affected the amount of players attending Bingo Halls? And are more people now accessing the big game from the comfort of their own home where they can do as they please? Well more and more of you are opting to play online however some people will still go to a Hall as it is a very social place.

If you have been going to a local hall for years and are dedicated to this way of playing it will be difficult to change therefore you may not want too and sneak of in the intervals for a smoke! On the other hand there will be Bingo Hall members out there that do not smoke and prefer the fact that they can enjoy the game without people smoking around them.

There are pros and cons in playing both online and off and it is down to the individual and their circumstances to which way suits them! A major advantage to online bingo is its convenience, players can usually log on any time day or night and play whereas in a Hall there are set times. The social side in a Hall is great as you have direct interaction with others and can converse with people face to face. The online game has improved its social side through Chat Rooms and in some of these there is the chance to not only meet locals but people from around the world! So whether playing online or off the main thing is that this fantastic game is still growing and not going anywhere!
